Rules . . .
There are not a lot of rules concerning the use of the cottage other than common sense and courtesy to the owners. In general, the cottage should be left in as good or better condition when you leave than when you arrived. The rules listed below are the minimum expectation for all
renters.
Some rules to remember are:
- No pets allowed.
- One half of the rental fee must be paid within 14 days of making a weekly reservation to confirm the reservation.
- Rental fees for June, July and August must be paid by March 1.
- If you are making your reservation after March 1 the fee must be paid within 14 days of making the reserfvation.
- September through May rental fees must be paid in full two weeks before your arrival date.
- Make checks payable to Susan Lawrenz.
- The cottage must be left neat and clean and ready for the next renter when you leave. If the cottage is not left neat and clean, an additional charge of $100.00 will be added to the rental fee.
- Contact Susan Lawrenz if you are interested in a paid cleaning service.
- Outside activity must be kept very quiet after 10 p.m.
- Renters must report any damage, accidental or not, to the Cottage Administrator at 262-957-6113.
- All lights must be turned off when you leave. AC should be set to 78 in summer. Heat in winter should be left at 60 degrees.
- No food should be left in the refrigerator or cabinets.
- Be courteous and considerate of cottage neighbors at all times.
- Tents on Laurentia grounds are not allowed.
