Laurentia Cottage in Mt. Morris, Wisconsin
LAURENTIA is a Cape Cod style cottage facing a small chain of lakes in Mt. Morris, Wisconsin. Mt. Morris is located 35 miles west of Oshkosh and 7 miles northeast
of Wautoma.
The cottage was built in 1939 by Herman Lawrenz and his son Carl. Carl Lawrenz served for many years as a pastor and seminary professor in the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. The
cottage was completely renovated and expanded in 2026 by the Lawrenz family. The renovation includes many modern updates while retaining the charm and ambiance of the original 1939 cottage. While
originally constructed as a summer cottage, the facility is now suitable for year-round use.
Today, the cottage is shared and managed by the family of Carl Lawrenz. You can enjoy this lovely cottage too! Everyone who comes here says that this is one of the most relaxing
places they have ever visited.
